Getting Ready Photos
Nadia and Joey, are from New York, so they rented a stunning Airbnb on the Connecticut coast to host their family for the celebration. It created the perfect setting to get ready for their special day. Before the ceremony, we captured heartfelt moments of the bride with her parents, bridesmaids, and their son. These photos are so special, the timeless memories of the love and joy shared with the most important people in her life. There’s something truly meaningful about documenting these connections, from the proud smiles of her parents to the sweet moments with her little boy. I’m absolutely obsessed with these photos and the story they tell!
Ceremony, Bridal Party, and Family Photos
They had a wonderful, outdoor ceremony, with their first look happening as the bride walked down the aisle. The groom’s reaction was incredibly sweet, and I loved capturing their bride and groom portraits afterward. Their love and connection were truly heartwarming! Nadia envisioned a beautiful blend of natural moments with Joey, combined with a mix of editorial and documentary-style photography to capture their love story. I absolutely loved balancing the elegance of editorial shots with the raw, romantic moments between them. The result was a stunning collection of images that felt both timeless and authentic!
Grand Entrance, First Dances, Dinner and Speeches
Next on the timeline was the grand entrance, then straight into the first dances. For the bride’s dance with her dad, she had a heartfelt surprise and wore her mom’s wedding dress. Here’s the epic dance party, featuring the incredible DJ, Andrew Torres! This part of the gallery highlights my flash photography. I believe it’s so important to hire a wedding photographer who can capture every moment, no matter the lighting situation. I’m confident using flash and always ready for a wild, unforgettable party!
